Legend says Reinah was once a warrior-witch of an ancient civilization that plunged into the depths of the sea to recover her lifelong comrade who fell overboard during an ancient battle many millennia ago.
Her body was never recovered, but her comrade miraculously survived and washed up to a nearby shore. It is speculated that Reinah sacrificed her life in a bargain with the Sea God and pledged her eternal service in exchange for the life of her comrade who would have surely drowned.
